THE BRIEF

This is my second solo project in General Assembly UXDI course. I‘ve been given the task to choose a topic that I’m interested in, and use UX methodology to solve user’s pain points. The timeline was 2 weeks.

RESEARCH

Key Findings

1. People forget someone’s name, because:

  • They don’t understand the name

  • They didn’t speak to each other for long time

  • They just met

  • In a group of introduction, too many names to be remembered

  • They didn’t pay attention

2. Adding contacts on phone takes too long

3. People are good at remembering faces than remembering names

4. Repeating the name is a good way to remember it

Goal

Helping people simplify adding contacts on phone and remembering names through visual and repeat mnemonics.
